During my research into clay from the Minette region in Luxembourg, I created a video and sound installation that explores the process of clay dissolving in water, decomposing and reassembling into a hydrated state. This transformation creates a fascinating abstract sound that complements the visual process. The installation reflects the dynamic relationship between material and process, highlighting the tactile nature of the clay as it moves between states, while the sound adds an additional layer of sensory engagement, emphasising the fluidity and transformation of the material.
