About

Dijana Engelmann’s work explores themes of identity, belonging and social norms, particularly through the lens of the boundaries that divide our bodies, spaces and social structures. Through her work, she encourages reflection on how identity is formed within societal contexts, and how we can challenge established patterns of behaviour and perception. Her works encourage dialogue and introspection about the possibilities of resistance and change within existing frameworks.
