About the festival and program:
VIZURA APERTA is a festival whose program and workshop themes are derived from the specific social and geographical environment in which the festival takes place. This year’s program focuses on the themes of tourism, destruction by different contents, construction, neglect and deals with the phenomena of depopulation, the disappearance of the indigenous way of life and the occupation of contents and people. The Vizura aperta festival, which has been held in the Istrian border town of Momjan/Momian for fifteen years, is taking place this year for the first time on the island of Zlarin, which still resists brutal forms of tourism. ONE SHOT FILMS WORKSHOP
In cooperation with the Festival for Visual and Audio Media, Vizura Aperta, the One Take Film Festival and the Cinema Club Zagreb, a workshop on films shot in one frame will be held. After Boris Greiner, Vlasta Žanić, Nicole Hewitt and Sandro Đukić, who led the youth workshops, this year’s workshop will be led by Boris Poljak. Through the author’s approach, the workshop will consider ideas, themes and motifs that lead to the decision to make a film in a picture. The participants will make films during the workshop, which we will be able to see as part of the accompanying program of the One Take Film Festival, which will take place in Zagreb in October 2016.
